As the number of brands and products to choose from multiplies, shoppers are honing in on how they’re making their buying decisions – with brand transparency and authenticity being one of the most important factors.
In fact, 62% of shoppers will only shop with brands they find authentic, and 75% of shoppers will plan to spend more money with brands and retailers they perceive as authentic.
In line with what shoppers are looking for, regulatory bodies across the globe, like the Federal Trade Commission, European Commission, and Competition Councils, have enacted policies around content integrity, online reviews, and authenticity.
What’s in your shoppers’ best interest, is our interest. Our goal is to help your brand stay informed of policy changes, compliant with governing bodies, and transparent with your customers.
This is why we’ve released a series of features to do exactly that:
- Syndication of staff badging: Ability to syndicate badges for reviews that have been left by a business’ staff (Available for Hosted, API, and DCE clients)
- Incentivized content summaries: Summary discloses if a rating is incentivized, both for ratings-only reviews and ratings with review text (Available for Hosted, API, and DCE clients)
- Syndication of product level attribution: Syndicated reviews will include the original product name the review was sourced from (Available for Hosted, API, and DCE clients)
- Legally sensitive (LI) and adverse effects (AE) reporting for syndicated content: Content tagged with legally sensitive (LI) and adverse effects (AE) moderation codes will no longer be rejected automatically, and this reporting template is now available for syndicated content (Available for Hosted, API, and DCE clients)
